HEAT TRAINING GRANTS FOR HEATING ENGINEERS

HEATING engineers could be eligible for a Government grant of up to £500 towards a heat network training course.

 The grants cover eligible courses in the following areas:

·       Heat network feasibility and design;
·       Heat network construction;
·       Heat networks operation and maintenance;
·       Heat networks metering and billing and data collection; and
·       Local authorities and developers

One grant per person is available and all courses offered will be between £500 to £600, meaning all or most of the cost will be covered by the grant. Courses will be available from October 2023 to April 2024 7th May 2024

In order to be eligible for a grant you have to be a qualified heating engineer, based in England.

You, or the business you work for, will also have to have received less than £315,000 in Government subsidies over the last three years.
