It has come to our notice that there is a text message scam doing the rounds offering people the chance to apply for a winter subsidy by clicking a link.
We would obviously implore you not to do so. The message ends with 'Thank you for your support of the UK Government'. Sadly these despicable messages have become all too commonplace. Please make sure that any vulnerable people are aware of this scam and point them to Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and
#DWP support instead.
