Home energy efficiency grants and assistance If you are a homeowner or have permission from your landlord to carry out works on your home, a number of organisations offer help to make your home more energy efficient, in the form of grants and other forms of financial assistance: Green Homes Grants The Green Homes Grant is closed for new applicants, but you can still use this service if all of the following apply: you have a Green Homes Grant voucher the work has been completed by your TrustMark registered installer you are the homeowner or landlord You must redeem your voucher by the expiry date shown on the voucher. This is 3 months from the date it was issued. To find out more please visit: Redeem a Green Homes Grant voucher - on the GOV.UK website Energy Company Obligation The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme designed to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce carbon emissions. Under ECO you may be able to get help to pay for energy saving improvements from your energy supplier, such as insulation work or boiler repairs or replacement.
