BEIS has today published the 2018 Research Report by Delta Energy and Environment into the cost of heating installations in domestic properties.
The report , while obviously now 2 years out of date, gives a good indication of the figures BEIS has been using to calculate the funding for various energy efficiency schemes.
The costings provided are for full installation but do not include VAT.
A summary of the figures suggests
24kw Gas Boiler installation ranges from £2,250 to £6,228
24kw Oil Boiler installation ranges from £2,770 to £7,440
25kw Biomass Boiler installation ranges from £10,000 to £24,300
8kw Air-Source Heat Pump installation ranges from £8,750 to £14,750
16kw Air-Source Heat Pump installation ranges from £14,050 to £21,550
12kw Ground-Source Heat Pump installation ranges from £14,850 to £27,350
Air Heat Exchanger installation ranges from £2,400 for a 1 bedroom property to £8,800 for a 4 bedroom house
Electric Heating installation can range from £1,585 for a 1 bedroom flat to £,5115 for a 3 bedroom flat
While we have summarised the figures from the report here but the report itself has several caveats that we would strongly recommend anyone wishing to use these figures reads the full report on the BEIS website
