Ofgem has sent out a reminder to stakeholders doublecheck the origin of their smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) installed to achieve Time and Temperature Zone Control (TTZC).
The independent regulatory authority said: “We would like to remind participants in the scheme that smart TRV products installed to achieve TTZC must be from the relevant Product Characteristics Database (PCDB).
“As the RdSAP assessments used to assess projects in the current ECO4 scheme is RdSAP 2012, then the PCDB for the scheme is the corresponding 2012 version.
“Therefore, any smart TRV products used which cannot be found in PCDB 2012 will be rejected. It is possible for these products to be found in more than one PCDB and this would be allowed providing one of them is 2012.”
