In particular it wants to hear views on:
- mid-scheme updates to the current Energy Company Obligation scheme (ECO4) and Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS); and
- the introduction to both schemes of a voluntary Pay-For-Performance mechanism (PFP)
The consultation is open to everyone but is of particular relevance to energy suppliers, energy efficiency installers, energy efficiency measure manufacturers & associated software developers, local authorities, consumer groups and academic groups.

Events are also being held where people will have the opportunity to ask questions about the consultation. They are

- ECO4 and GBIS event 2: Monday 25 November 2024, 14:00-15:30
These events will cover Part 1 of the consultation, the mid-scheme changes to ECO4 and GBIS, and will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.
Events specifically focussed on Part 2 of the consultation, Pay-For-Performance, which will not be relevant to all stakeholders, will be held on:
- Pay-For-Performance event 1: Tuesday 19 November 2024, 09:30-11:00
- Pay-For-Performance event 2: Friday 29 November 2024, 10:00-11:30
